Bluegill ice fishing derby

Date: 1/30/2010 Saturday & Time 7 am to 2 pm

Rules: All fishermen must have a valid fishing license. All fish must be brought to the weigh-in area by 2:00 p.m. Fish will be weighed by tournament officials only. Fish must be kept alive in a five gallon bucket or similar container with water and without ice. No frozen fish, prior weigh in. Heaviest fish weight to determine winner. All local and state fishing regulations apply. Tournament officials will have the final decision regarding all rules and winners. Eastern Penn-Jersey Deaf Bass Anglers will not be held liable for any incidents or injuries occurring during tournament.

Each angler may fish with no more than two rods at a time, live bait is permitted. 5 tip-ups device legal for ice fishing according to state laws. Each entrant, an individual, may weigh in no more than (25) Bluegill. Participants may drill as many holes as they wish. However, any open hole may be fished by any competitor as long as they maintain the 10 ft away. Hole Blocking is not allowed: Leaving a portable or other equipment next to a hole does not stop another fisherman from using that hole if you are over ten feet away.
